About FinCalcHub

FinCalcHub was built around one frustration: most personal finance calculators online either hide their formulas, require you to create an account, or produce results with no explanation of how they got there.

We think that when a calculator tells you your debt will be paid off in 3 years and 4 months, you deserve to know exactly why. Every tool we build shows the formula it uses, cites the data source it references, and runs entirely in your browser β€” your financial numbers never leave your device.

Muhammad Umar Khan

Founder, Researcher & Editor

Muhammad Umar Khan is the founder of FinCalcHub. He researches the rate benchmarks and tax data behind every tool, writes and edits the guides, and checks each calculator formula against primary sources from the Federal Reserve, FDIC, Bank of England, and ASIC.

He built FinCalcHub to make personal-finance maths transparent β€” no hidden formulas, no sign-ups, and no collection of your financial data. Every result on the site should be one you can check by hand.

Our Principles

Formula Transparency

Every calculator shows the exact formula it uses, with a worked example you can verify by hand.

Your Data Stays Private

All calculations happen in your browser. We never store, transmit, or sell your financial inputs.

Trusted Data Sources

Interest rate benchmarks come from the Federal Reserve, FDIC, Bank of England, and ASIC β€” updated regularly.

Multi-Country Coverage

We cover the US, UK, Canada, and Australia, with locally relevant rate benchmarks and tax contexts where applicable.
